Your use of the Website constitutes your agreement to be subjected to the Payments, Refunds & Cancellation Policy, which shall, together with our Terms of Use, govern the relationship between Guide India Publication (GIP) and you in relation to the Website and the Content purchased and transactions made thereon.

Terms capitalized herein but not defined shall have the same meaning as given in the Terms of Use contained on the Website.

Nothing contained herein shall be construed to contradict or override anything contained in the Terms of Use appearing on the Website. The interpretation of GIP in this matter shall be final and binding.

Payments, Refunds & Cancellation Policy                                                                                                                                                                                             

1. Purchases, Subscriptions and Financial Terms:

1.1. The Website allows you to purchase subscriptions to the Content on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis subject to the terms and conditions set out herein, read with the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

1.2. Upon successful completion of purchase of a subscription, GIP shall share the details of the transaction via SMS / WhatsApp message to the mobile number and/or via e-mail provided to confirm the details of the subscription, the price paid, start and end dates, auto-renewal modes, if opted and other relevant information. For this purpose, you will be required to share certain information with us, including but not limited to (i) your first and last name (ii) mobile number; and (iii) email address. It shall be your sole responsibility to bring any incorrect details to our attention.

1.3. In addition to the foregoing, we may also contact you by phone, SMS and / or email to inform and confirm any change in the pricing of the subscription, due to unavailability of the Content sought or change in pricing. In case you are not agreeable to such change, or in the event you are unavailable to confirm the changed order, GIP reserves the right to not process your order and in such event the provisions of the cancellation and refund policy below shall be applicable.

1.4. All payments made through the Website by you shall be compulsorily in Indian Rupees acceptable in the Republic of India. The Website will not facilitate transactions with respect to any other form of currency with respect to the purchases made on Website. You can pay by (i) credit card or debit card or net banking; (ii) UPI payment apps; (iii) digital wallets; or (iv) any other RBI approved payment method.

1.5. You understand, accept and agree that the payment facility provided by us is neither a banking nor financial service but we are merely a facilitator providing an electronic, automated online electronic payment system, receiving payment on delivery, collection and remittance facility for the transactions on the Website using the existing authorized banking infrastructure and credit card payment gateway networks and by providing payment facility, GIP is neither acting as a trustee nor in a fiduciary capacity with respect to the transaction or the transaction price.

1.6. You agree to pay us for the total amount for the order placed by you on the Website. We will collect the total amount in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Policy read with the Terms of Use & Privacy Policy. Please note that we cannot control any amount that may be charged to you by your bank / financial organisation related to our collection of the total amount, and we disclaim all liability in this regard.

1.7. In connection with your order, you will be asked to provide customary billing information such as name, billing address and credit card information either to us or to our third-party payment processor. You agree to pay us for the order placed by you on the Website, in accordance with these terms, using the methods described herein. You hereby authorize the collection of such amounts by charging the credit card provided as part of requesting the purchase, either directly by us or indirectly, via a third party online payment processor or by one of the payment methods described on the Website. If you are directed to our third-party payment processor, you may be subject to terms and conditions governing use of that third party’s service and that third party’s personal information collection practices. Please review such terms and conditions and privacy policy before using the Website services. Once your transaction is complete you will receive a confirmation email summarizing your confirmed order.

1.8. All applicable sales and service taxes and levies on the purchase, including but not limited to GST, shall be borne by you.

1.9. The prices reflected on the Website may, very rarely, change at the time of placing the order. We disclaim any liabilityin case of such an issue, which may be due to some technical issue, typographical error or incorrect product information reflected on the Website.

1.10. Discount schemes etc. run by GIP on subscriptions and purchases from time to time shall be subject to the terms and conditions applicable to the relevant scheme.

2. Cancellation & Refunds :

2.1. A subscription may be cancelled at any time prior to its expiry. However, refunds shall only be provided subject to Clauses 2.2 to 2.5 below.

2.2. If you are not satisfied with the purchase of your subscription, you shall be eligible for a full reimbursement of the paid amount, provided you submit your cancellation & refund request within fourteen (14) calendar days of your transaction. After the fourteen (14)-day period, you will no longer be eligible for a refund. We encourage you to try the product or subscription in the first two weeks after their purchase to ensure your approval.

2.3. In case your subscription is cancelled for reasons attributable to GIP, GIP shall provide you a pro-rated refund of the subscription fees paid for the unserviced period.

2.4. We reserve the sole right to cancel your subscription under the following circumstances:

2.4.1. in case the Website is prohibited to be visited in the country of your residence;

2.4.2. failure to contact you by phone or email for confirmation of a changed order; or

2.4.3. unavailability of the items ordered by you at the time of purchasing the Content / subscription. Under any of the above circumstances, a full refund shall be processed.

2.5. Refunds shall be processed to the source from which the funds were originally paid.
