The ‘tread’ of a tyre refers to the rubber on its outer circumference that makes contact with the road. As tyres roll, the tread is gradually worn off, limiting its effectiveness in providing traction or contact with the road surface.

As a motorist, you should be careful of the tread wear signs. In case of any danger signs or symptoms appearing on the tyre, take immediate action to rectify or replace the same, otherwise it may lead to an accident by split or tyre burst.
Periodical wheel alignment and balancing are absolutely vital to avoid the tyres from developing faults. Keep observing your tyres, especially before long or high speed drives as a precautionary measure to avoid calamities
